I bought a Toyota Hiace van with the intention of converting it. The challenge was to find someone to create something individual, rather than a factory product. Then I came across Jade. She is approachable, easy to work with and prepared to discuss options. It was a breath of fresh air! Jade works to a high standard, producing a cosy, comfy unique home on wheels.

I first came across Jade on Facebook, when a mutual friend of ours posted Jade's most recent woodhacker campervan conversion. My husband Iain and myself had been debating what campervan would suit us for almost 10 years and we'd rejected so many as; too big, too small, too heavy, too complicated - but when I saw what Jade had created and read her own words about the conversion, I knew this was what we had been looking for. I eagerly messaged Jade immediately, which happened to be at 3am……..Me & Iain spent a good few days marvelling at the gorgeous woodhacker van conversion my friend had reposted for Jade, before finally deciding that instead of saving patiently until we could afford it, we'd put our savings into getting a woodhacker van as soon as Jade could build it for us.....
After having a chat with Jade I liked her even more. She was warm, friendly and listened to what we were after. Finding a base vehicle took a while and involved Jade catching the train all over the place to check out vehicles. Twice this came to nothing and she had to go home empty handed. Our appreciation of and admiration for Jade grew tremendously at this point because we knew she was doing all this to make sure we got the right vehicle. Finally she found the right LWB Hiace and the text she sent as she drove it home to Wales stirred our excitement back up again…… Cannot thank Jade enough for bringing 'Stella' into our lives at just the right moment <3

Review by happy Woodhacker van owner. I followed Woodhacker conversions for years and became obsessed with getting one. After saving enough money I then gave up hope as Jade was busy and I was impatient. Jade contacted me one day out of the blue, literally the day I was about to buy a Transit. Between us we convinced her into a commission. Although it was about 5 months before I got Arian due to finding the right van, Jade being ill, and me wanting certain things, I can honestly say it was well worth the wait. I think I may have driven her slightly mad with my emails detailing my favourite colours etc! But Jade has a lot of patience and absolutely nailed it with the decor inside Arian, which is so me,as a slightly whacky artist who loves outrageous colours. Arian makes my heart and soul sing everytimeI go inside the van. I am not used to things like gas cylinders or camping, so have bombarded Jade with questions, which she is very graciously getting through, slowly but surely.....
They are very compact spaces but so cosy, and mine has been literally my saviour as a stressed carer, as my life otherwise revolves around medical appointments, and holidays are difficult if not impossible. I also transferred the money before collecting the van, you quickly realise that Jade is totally trustworthy and one of those rare honest, kind and wildly enthusiastic humans who work hard and are super~skilled artisans too. I am so glad I ended up with Arian instead of one of those hundreds of others I looked into. Thank you so much Jade and long live Woodhacker (I have not been asked to give this review)

Testimonial for Miss Amazing Woodhacker Jade - Where to begin- Anyone who ever wants to invest on a home on wheels lok no further. This is a classic example of trusting the universe and it provides :) I found Jade on Facebook Marketplace and immediately fell in love with her build and workmanship. For the following 5 or so months we were in contact almost every couple of days as we figured out the details of my new home :) Jade was a pleasure to work with from the beginning and gave me full trust to send the total amount via the internet without ever actually meeting her or seeing the va (This all was due to COVID-19 mishaps restricting travel etc).....
Jade was so so accommodating for me, PATIENT and kind. She gave me such a joy and excitement for the van sometimes she seemed more excited then I felt. After a long wait due to ferries being cancelled and my van being stuck in Wales, my Mr Bean arrived by freight 2 months ago and he hasn’t left my sight yet. THe most compact incredible build and space I have ever seen. It is so amazing what Jade can build inside such a small space. It has everything I could have dreamed of and soooo much more. She is so talented and an amazing business woman who can set you up for the most sick van life one can imagine- LOOK NO FURTHER if you are looking for an insane van conversion by an amazing woman who gave me faith to trust in humans again :)No-one is a stranger they are just friends we have not met :) Thank you from the bottom of my heart Jade x

Hi this is random I know, but my partner showed me this listing as a nice example of creative van woodwork- and without reading I knew it was a Woodhacker van! I thought you might like to know that your ingenious designs and beautiful workmanship are clearly recognisable. Best of luck with the sale :)
