One of my own van conversions, built to sell on.
This build interior was styled on a moodboard that I created with rustic, reclaimed wood and zingy bright citrus colours that made me think of warm Summers travelling through Spain. Oranges and limes and copper elements bring warmth while the cladding finished in an off white eggshell keep the van feeling bright and airy.
The worktop was reclaimed from a gorgeous piece of oak from an old table that was no longer wanted. I used other reclaimed timber for the table, shelves and other elements of the framework. For some storage areas I added Wicker baskets. Not only do baskets work aesthetically alongside reclaimed wood, they are also a great practical storage solution that do not add weight to the final build.
The van has a 160w solar panel on the roof with a 130ah leisure battery running the led spot lights and USB points and a 12v coolbox. A simple whale foot pump operates the handmade copper tap.Designed for simple but practical off grid van life.
